In illuminating models, the actuator is said to illuminate uniformly across the entire surface. Lettering and symbols can be applied with standard black lettering providing a positive effect, while negative lettering provides an inverse effect. Non-illuminated models have a translucent white actuating surface. Lettering is black and is applied directly onto the ceramic
material. Due to the base material and the lettering process, the lettering is resistant to scratches and common cleaning agents.
Designed to be robust, the MSM CS meets vandal-proof demands with a low profile 1.7mm front structure, IP 69K protection class and the high impact resistance. The switch is available in 19 and 22mm mounting diameters. Different contact configurations are offered over a range of 30V DC to 250V AC and switching currents are permissible from 0.1 to 10A.
